Read this correctly
This page records the City of Toronto's evaluation of a building, made under its RentSafeTO programme. It is not a review, not a rating by this site, and not a statement about anyone who owns, manages or lives in the building.
The score is the city's score, on the city's scale. This site shows the number the city recorded and does not interpret it. What the scale means, and how an evaluation is carried out, is defined by the city: RentSafeTO on open.toronto.ca.
Most buildings have two evaluations on file, not one — and two points are not a trend. 3,143 of the 3,587 buildings here have more than one evaluation, usually about two years apart. A rise or fall between them can be an inspection catching something different, a different inspector, a repair, or simply a different day.
An area that was not scored is left out of every average, never counted as zero, and the number of evaluations an average rests on is shown beside it.
The published data contains a value that is not a year — 202510 — in the year-evaluated column. It is shown as published rather than tidied into a year the city did not write.
A building evaluation is about the condition of the property. Nothing on this site is advice about whether to rent anywhere, and nothing here is about a tenancy.
